I do love a family photoshoot. I love getting the chance to watch a family interact with each other as if no one is watching. Sure, it's great to have those photos where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling at the same time, but the ones I really love are when you get to see everyone's personalities shine through. When everyone starts getting a bit silly, or when a wave soaks your jeans up to the knees, or when the dog starts barking at the waves!

I was reliably informed that Bobby the Pug/Cavalier cross didn't like the sea at all. Well, he could have fooled me! He sure was telling those waves who was boss!

I'm definitely a pet person, so I love it when families bring their doggos with them. They say you should never work with animals or children. Well, 'they' are wrong! I love the unpredictability of working with kids and pets. They never do quite what your expecting, and it means that I can capture some gorgeous candid shots of families enjoying spending time together!
