Gorgeous, Autumnal Inspiration for Engagement Photo Shoots in the heart of the New Forest!

I know that we're firmly into December now, and that I am in full-on Christmas baby portrait mode, but there's never a bad time to share some photos of autumn in the New Forest in all it's glory!

As you know, the forest is my favourite place to shoot engagement sessions (and families and weddings for that matter!), and the forest really is beautiful at any time of year. However, in the autumn, it really feels magical. If you time it perfectly, there are a couple of weeks where the leaves are all orange, yellow and gold, and the backdrop is simply stunning.

Add to that, a wonderfully adorable couple, wearing colours that perfectly compliment the season (yay!) and what you get is a really lovely gallery of photos.

Gemma and Karl really are very sweet. They were a little shy at first, but quickly relaxed into the photo shoot, showing beautiful smiles and their genuine happiness at getting married really shining through into their photos.

Karl proposed to Gemma on a mountain hike and even managed to take a video of the whole thing, which I got to see on the day of their engagement shoot. What a romantic he is! And such a special memory to have in a video!

I'm really looking forward to their wedding next year, and am really looking forward to seeing what style of wedding this romantic, adorable couple go for!
