Winchester to Barton on Sea
It was a beautiful wedding day. The weather was warm, but not too hot, the sun was shining, and everyone was in good spirits. There were only 12 guests at the wedding; the couple's grown up children.
The Bride and Groom had been together for 17 years and made a life for themselves, before deciding to take the leap into marriage.
The Bride looked absolutely stunning in her white dress, with flower decorations in green and purple. The dress perfectly matched the bouquet of flowers, and of course there must be an honourable mention for those fabulous green shoes! The Groom had a gorgeous green suit on. Green is becoming a really popular colour for Grooms, and I have to say, I love the trend. Green is the perfect balance between formal and summer-casual.
The registry office in Winchester is lovely, and has the perfect surroundings of Winchester Castle for photos afterwards. But for this wedding, we were spoilt for choice with our photo locations, as we all then headed towards Barton on Sea, where the reception was to be held at Pebble Beach Restaurant on the cliff top. There is a lovely area near the restaurant, with a path down to the beach, which made the perfect backdrop for some more couples photos and photos of the family too.
S and A are such a delightful couple and I really enjoyed photographing their wedding. I do love a tiny wedding, and this one really ticked all the boxes for me.
Huge congratulations to a gorgeous couple on their big day!
