Beautiful Mother's Day portraits at Jiggy Wrigglers Southampton West!

During the February half term, I was once again back at the wonderful Jiggy Wrigglers sessions in Southampton West, with Jiggy Kat, to take photos of all the gorgeous babies and toddlers.

We had a lovely two days at Romsey Rapids, and then at Totton and Eling Community Centre, where everyone jiggled and wriggled for some half term love-themed fun.

I used this backdrop for 2024's Mother's Day photos, and it was very successful, so I decided to use it again. Last year, I had blue balloons lining the back, but they were an absolute nightmare; constantly escaping or popping. So the balloons were gone this year! Instead, I found a lovely vase of pampas grass, and some cute blue paper fan decorations. Mother's Day decorations for my photo shoots seem to be rather bad luck for me! The pampas grass moulted everywhere, and the paper fans, well, paper was always going to be a terrible idea, wasn't it!?! They got torn and sat on, and were flat as pancakes after 10 minutes!

This is completely fine. I really do expect my decorations to get destroyed at every session. I am photographing very young children, who are interested in everything, and want to explore the photo set, so I really don't mind. I definitely need to come up with something slightly more solid for next time though! Haha!

Anyway, I had a lovely couple of days, and took some lovely photos of children on their own, and with their Mummies too. It's so nice for the Mums to get in the photos, as they are always the ones taking the photos, and never get to actually be in them! Jiggy Mums were buying photos for themselves, and also for their own Mums, as a lovely Mother's Day gift.

As always, it was an absolute pleasure working with Jiggy Kat, and we both had our own little ones with us too, there to enjoy some Jiggy Wirgglers fun. Mine absolutely LOVE going to Jiggys!
