Carmen & Daniel's unique wedding at Ashley Baptist Church and Bashley Village Hall.
Well, if you thought that a Hugo Boss suit paired with white trainers was cool at Emma and Sam's wedding at the beginning of August, then you're in for a treat! Bride Carmen raised the shoe game to a whole new level with these fabulous white Dr Martens boots!
The boots went with a gorgeous rose-gold-pink beaded gown, big sun and moon sparkly earrings and these fabulous paper flowers that the bride made herself! She's so clever! They are absolutely stunning! A truly non-traditional bridal style that look elegant, classy and super-cool at the same time.
Both bride and groom were super relaxed and chilled (despite the fact that it was super hot!) throughout the day, which matched their personalities perfectly. They are such a sweet, lovely couple. They look at each other like they are the only thing in the world that matters, and that makes my job as their photographer very easy indeed!
The day was full of special moments, including a big surprise from the bride's parents. The bride loves horses, so her parents booked her a horse and carriage to take her to the church! Some people are really easy to surprise (I know, because i'm one of them). Carmen didn't even question us when we said we were leaving for the wedding a full hour before the ceremony started, despite it being a 5 minute drive! The photos of the dawning realisation that the beautiful horses (Hamish and Harry) and carriage were there for her, are super cute!
Another special moment was the fact that the bride's Mum was conducting the ceremony! In most wedding photos, there is a registrar in the photos who the bride and groom only met just before the wedding, but for Carmen and Daniel, their photos standing at the altar include one of the most important people in their lives. How lovely!
They certainly knew how to have a good time with their friends and family, and I very much
enjoyed taking photos of everyone on the dance floor having a great time!
