A Warm, Autumnal Afternoon in the Beautiful Wilverley Inclosure, The New Forest, Hampshire
It's lovely at any time of year in the New Forest. Each season offers so much to visitors. The Autumn is probably my favourite season when it comes to being in the Forest. The light is wonderful and the colours are divine.
This particular visit to the New Forest was for a lovely engagement session for a couple who are getting married next year. It was quite early on in the autumn, so the leaves hadn't really started to change colour yet. However, as I said, it's always lovely in the Forest at any time of year, and so we had the gorgeous sunlight, a lovely warm autumnal breeze and leaves just starting to scatter on the ground. There were a few yellow and red leaves to be seen here and there, but it was mostly still wonderfully green.
For this visit, we ventured in from the Inclosure side of the car park and turned left straight away, which is generally the more quiet route. We only encountered a few walkers headed back from doing the big round walk, some with particularly muddy dogs eager to say hi.
It was lovely to meet the Bride and Groom face to face (one of the best things about having an engagement session before your big day - so we can get to know each other a bit better). We had a lovely chat and catch up about all things wedding, and I captured some lovely moments.
I'm not going to be showing you the full gallery for this one, because the couple have asked not to be featured on social media or my website. They have agreed to let me share this lovely photo of the Bride in her custom made jacket, which I just love! This is a reminder that you get to choose just how much goes online with regards to your photos! It doesn't have to be YES or NO. It can be NO, but you can use x, y, z; maybe photos with no ones face in them, or just details photos from the big day. It is entirely up to you to decide, and you can change your mind at any time!
I still like to blog about different sessions, mostly because I just love sharing the love, and if there are some photos to go with my words, then brilliant, but if not, that's completely fine with me.
