A Relaxed Engagement Session at Wilverley Inclosure, New Forest

After 17 years together, it was finally time to celebrate S and A's engagement – and what better place than the beautiful Wilverley Inclosure in the heart of the New Forest.

The session didn't quite get off to the smoothest start! The Wilverley car park was unexpectedly being resurfaced, and with virtually no phone signal in the forest, finding each other became a little adventure in itself. Thankfully, after a few detours and a bit of patience, we finally met up and could begin what turned into a truly lovely afternoon.

The sunshine filtered through the towering trees full of blossom in the early spring, creating the perfect backdrop for a couple who were so relaxed and completely at ease with each other. Having spent 17 years side by side, they didn't need any posing prompts to show their connection – they simply enjoyed being together, sharing laughs and quiet moments as we wandered through the woodland.

Of course, no engagement session would have been complete without their gorgeous dog, Breeze, who happily joined in the fun. Whether trotting along the forest paths or cuddling up with her humans, Breeze was very much part of the story and added even more personality to the photographs.

Sometimes the best sessions are the ones that don't start perfectly. Despite the bumpy beginning, we were rewarded with golden sunshine, peaceful woodland, and a wonderfully chilled afternoon capturing this exciting new chapter for a couple whose love story has already stood the test of time. Congratulations to you both – and thank you for letting me be part of such a special day.
